Cassie Williams is a member of both the Criminal and Civil team

Crime: Cassie is experienced in all areas of criminal litigation acting on behalf of both the prosecution and defence in the Crown Court. Cassie is regularly instructed to defend in a wide range of sexual offences including rape. Other areas of work include drugs offences, dishonesty offences, serious violence, public order and firearms. Cassie’s practice is built on good relationships with instructing solicitors and she is often instructed to defend particularly vulnerable men, women and youths. Cassie also undertakes work in taxi licensing and railway prosecutions.

Civil: Cassie regularly undertakes small claims and both fast and multi track court work as well as all aspects of drafting and advisory work. Cassie is more regularly instructed for Defendants but maintains a significant Claimant practice.

• Road traffic accidents
• Accidents at work
• Credit Hire

Cassie aims to turn around advisory work and drafting within 7 days and can attend to any instructions more promptly if required.

Cassie also undertakes work as a freelance lecturer and is currently lecturing in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence on the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School, Leeds.
