Counsel for the Appellant. Appeal by way of case stated in a case concerning the question of ‘reasonable excuse’ in a failing to provide a specimen for analysis allegation. The Respondent was a Zimbabwean faith healer. The case received coverage in a number of national newspapers.

Allegation of sado-masochistic rape. Defendant allegedly used a 'rape kit’.

Allegations of serious sexual assaults upon the Defendant’s son and former partners of his stepdaughter.

Youth charged with attempted armed robbery.

Defended in a number of cases involving, inter alia, the possession and use of firearms and violent ‘home invasion’ robbery.
R v. Bridge
Allegation of dangerous driving. Defendant maintained that it was he that was ‘rammed’ deliberately by the police. Considerable argument re disclosure. Abuse of process argued, Crown offered no evidence.
R v. Mills
Murder. Led by Neil Davey QC.
Currently instructed at Manchester Crown Court in a case involving historical allegations of child abuse and rape (13 complainants, 50 count indictment). |
