Profile:

Robert is an experienced Civil Practitioner with an emphasis on all types of personal injury work. Robert undertakes all aspects of contentious and non-contentious work and has extensive experience of providing advices on quantum and liability, and in drafting statements of case.

He is also experienced in providing lectures and training seminars on a wide range of topics to audiences of all levels, ranging from paralegal to partner status and is accredited with the SRA to provide CPD training.

Areas of Work:

Civil
Robert has experience in all aspects of personal injury litigation including Low-Velocity Impact, credit hire, fraud and complex and high value claims. Robert has acted on behalf of both Claimant’s and Defendants in small claims, fast track and multi-track matters in courts on the Midland, Northern and North-Eastern circuit. He has also provided advice and assistance in many fatal accident cases and has represented both insurers and the family of the recently deceased at inquest hearings following fatal road traffic collisions.

Criminal
Robert is regularly instructed to undertake both Prosecution and Defence work in the Magistrates' and Youth Courts and is currently instructed on behalf of the Defence in a number of Crown Court matters. Practises in all areas of criminal law, with particular experience of working with vulnerable witnesses and Defendants.

Personal Interests: Robert is a season ticket holder at Anfield and has an ingrained passion for football and Liverpool FC in particular. In his spare time he likes to run, play tennis and football (badly) and read crime fiction.
